Someone would present himself ("he" also says he's a he) as a retired Air Force Colonel when he really isn't?

Do people really have that lousy of a life that they have to make one up just to feel as if their existence has meaning?

Just wondering if FormerlyTLR can shed some light on the subject.

I don’t know why someone would do so, but it is undeniable that many do. The phony soldier’s controversy is a good example of that as is the new law on stolen valor that congress has recently passed, as well as the large number of people busted recently for being posers.

As for tlr I really do not know about him but I do have some serious doubts particularly based on his comments, and actions.

I don’t doubt that he is a veteran but the claim that he is a Colonel perplexes me since I have never met an officer so antiwar and so rude.

I have several ideas on this (some of which we have discussed before), currently I have to believe that if he is in fact a colonel then he may have been a reservist who bailed after being sent to Iraq.

It is not unusual in my experience for the Air force to have extremely short deployments, and very senior ranks with very little in the way of serious military experience (tlr may have been an admin poge) which could well explain it, at any rate I doubt that he will shed any light on the subject any time in the near future.

Although he is registered here (or someone registered his name) he has never posted any comments, and if I understand my server stats correctly that registration originated from California but there is virtually no way to tell for certain.

Because of the nature of the internet he could be any one (even some one employed to post inflammatory comments to gin up participation or divisive comments).

I wonder as well!

I've always wondered why females are, in general, more emotional, more caring, less financially minded and more family oriented than males?

Scientist say that all humans, regardless of gender, color, race, etc. are equal. So, why the male vs. female difference that I detect.

Anybody got a clue.

I wonder why we went from Summer To Winter almost overnite.
What happened to the season called FALL?

Here in N.C. it was 93 degrees. Two days latter we had our first freeze at 31 degrees.

This coupled with our severe drought of only 5 and 2/3 inches of rain in 4 and 1/2 months makes me wonder if God isn't making us pay for our sins. Or maybe it's Gore who's at fault.

Regardless, we're suffering.

Thats good!

Warm temps followed by rapid freezing would tend to kill lots of Skeeters!

And if I recall right N.C. Doesn't have really cold weather to begin with, but then I lived within a few miles of the coast when I was there.
